Unworldly Exhibit offers classes for all types of multimedia art. Come meet and share ideas with more people like you. This may be cosplayers coming together to take classes on armor design and creation, or a movie fan who wants to learn how to build special effects and break into the industry. There are a great number of potentials for people with a creative spirit who want to learn to bring their ideas to life.
**Classes are subject to cancelation if there is only one person registered for the class, but a full refund will be given and you will be notified prior if such changes occur.

Join this tight-knit (hehe) community as you develop a stuffed dragon or another creature of your own making under the guidance of Hannah Swedin (cosplayer—featured creator of our displayed Springtrap costume). Come for one or both group sessions from 6-8 PM, be provided with any necessary materials to complete your plushie, and join the discord to continue learning from and supporting one another.

Intermediate Crochet
Are you familiar with the basics of crochet and ready for something slightly more advanced but not too crazy? Have you been wanting to make a blanket, perhaps a cute, cozy headband for colder months; or maybe start an amigurumi project? Our Intermediate Crochet class might just be the class for you! Leave the class with new or refined knowledge, your own crocheted work, and keep the tools used. Intermediate class costs $35.

Clay Modeling
Receive guided instruction from Unworldly founder Troy Larson on types of materials and tools used to model clay, and how to turn ideas into something physical. While tools and materials are provided during the class, any materials you wish to take home are available for purchase. We highly recommend purchasing or bringing your own modeling clay—we use Monster Clay—before the class begins so you can bring the project you’ve worked on when you leave. This class starts at $40.
If you are interested in taking prosthetics, molds, and other advanced classes, we strongly encourage you take this class first since we use clay for many processes we teach.

Learn how to apply makeup and prosthetics to create horrifying facial effects. As an entry level class, the focus will be on latex wounds, skin prep, application, and latex removal safety. For $40, all materials will be provided for the class.

Learn tips and tricks from Unworldly founder Troy Larson on how to create fake walls and decorations to make the perfect backdrop. The course will include hands on sculpting on a smaller scale to train you for your own future projects. For any season and any era you want to create, this is the class for you! Movie Monster SFX - Frankenstein
This a part of a SFX Makeup series this fall where we will be doing looks inspired by classic movie monsters to learn basic prosthetic and painting techniques.
In this class, we are taking inspiration from “Frankenstein” to make a zombiefied Frankenstein’s monster look. Students will be introduced to 3rd Degree Silicone application as well as more coloring and contouring. Considering the length of the class and materials being used, the class costs $60 per person.
*We recommend you sign up with another person if you don’t feel comfortable applying and receiving makeup application from a stranger.
