Unworldly Exhibit offers classes for all types of multimedia art. Come meet and share ideas with more people like you. This may be cosplayers coming together to take classes on armor design and creation, or a movie fan who wants to learn how to build special effects and break into the industry. There are a great number of potentials for people with a creative spirit who want to learn to bring their ideas to life.
Classes are subject to cancelation if there is only one person registered for the class, but a full refund will be given and you will be notified prior if such changes occur.

Basic EVA Foam - Top Hat
In this Basic EVA Foam workshop, students will learn the basics of working with EVA foam and will be able to walk away with their very own fashionable foam Top Hat, perfect for any occasion. This is the first installment of a Steampunk Costuming series that will provide a complete costume by the end of the series. Keep an eye out for the next workshops in the series: Intermediate EVA Foam and Advanced EVA Foam. These following workshops will add upon the techniques taught in this one.
Mini Atrium
Have you ever wondered what it’s like creating a tiny forest? Then we have just the workshop for you!
In this basic Mini Terrarium workshop, students will learn common techniques used in making dioramas of any size, helpful for building any type of terrain for your favorite tabletop game or miniatures. At the end of the workshop, each student will be leaving with their very own completed Miniature Terrarium prop, perfect for any scene decoration or table-top talking point.

In this Intermediate EVA Foam Workshop students will create a Steampunk Gauntlet and learn about painting and distressing techniques. Students will be able to walk away with a gauntlet like the one pictured here for $45—the vials are an additional $5 charge to cover materials and the extra time it will take to complete them.
This is the next installment of the Steampunk Costume Series, in which students will be making 3 parts of their very own Steampunk costume once all of the workshops are completed. Students are required to have completed the Basic EVA Foam - Top Hat workshop prior to taking this class so they can build upon the techniques they’ve learned.

Dragon Horn Headband Craft
A talented, crafty artist will be coming to Unworldly for a special craft to make dragon horn head ornaments. She’ll walk the students through making horns on a headband using sheet EVA, wire, and foam clay, and painting at the end with acrylic paint/sealing spray while focusing on three crucial project steps: Foundation, Structure, and Finishing Touches.

Intermediate EVA Foam - Gauntlet
In this Intermediate EVA Foam Workshop students will create a Steampunk Gauntlet and learn about painting and distressing techniques. This course is designed for beginners but can be fun for every skill level for just $30 per person. If you’ve wanted to learn how to make molds and latex prosthetics, this is the intro course for you! This is a two-day class on the 27th at 3-5 PM and the 28th 10-12 for $65. If you can only attend one of the days, it is $40. The cost covers a prosthetic and mold you can take home with you!
